This past Saturday evening I had my 1st dining experience with 9 co-workers & our spouses/friends, for a total of 20 guests. My crab cakes were delicious and my husband’s prime rib was mouth watering! We were on a 2-hour schedule and the service was right on target. After dinner, many of us decided that we would return for another meal. I felt the prices were reasonable considering the amount of food you received. Unfortunately after eating my entire meal, there was no room for dessert, which looked sinfully delicious. I would rate our evening @ the Shanesville Hotel a 10 out of 10!!
Pros: friendly, courteous, delicious
Cons: parking seemed to be congested when we left

My wife and I Frequent Shanesville every Fri. and Sat. Night. The food is undescribebly DELICIOUS! They also have entertainment on these nights and the music and food is AWSOME!!!

It is the first time I was there, I was with my boyfriend and we had a great time. The food was excellent. We both had crab dishes, (imperial and cakes) We have already suggested to atleast 6 of our friends to have dinner there. The service was good, they were helpful but didn't bother you. The prices were reasonable. This restaurant makes a memorable evening.

ME AND MY HUSBAND HAVE BEEN GOING TO SHANESVILLE HOTEL FOR ABOUT THE PAST 9 MONTHS, SOMETIMES 2-3 TIMES PER WEEK FOR DINNER. HAVE NOT ONCE HAD ANYTHING THAT WAS NOT EXCEPTIONAL. NEW MANAGEMENT RECENTLY TOOK OVER THIS RESTAURANT AND THE FOOD IS THE BEST IN THE AREA. TRY IT I AM SURE YOU WILL GO BACK AGAIN.
Pros: GREAT SELECTION, VERY LARGE PORTIONS, EXCELLENT STEAKS
