ADA is the best!
by Steve51
I am extremely pleased with the Mohs surgery performed by Dr. Oberlender. Two weeks after surgery and the incision is barely noticeable. The doctor and staff answered all my questions. I am recommending ADA to all my friends.
- Pros: friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient
- Cons: takes a while to get an appointment
idiots

DON'T GO HERE, they're like cattle farmers, just move you in and out without taking time to explain anything!! they just want your money. I waited 45 minutes for my full body skin check, Dr finally walks in, looks at my arms n face, doesnt say anything, i have to point things out, take my shirt off, he looks for like 10 seconds and WALKS right back outta the room, doesn't even say good bye or anything. so basically i waited 45 minutes for a total of 45 seconds worth of service!! i was so angry!!! if any of my moles turn out to be cancerous, rest assured I'll take these idiots to court for misdiagnosis and incompetence!
theirs alot more harsh words i wanted to use here but they wont let me, i keep getting flagged lol
stay far away
Better than 2 stars!

It is true that there is a long wait time here, but I have found in general that the staff is nice and the doctors are friendly and knowledgeable. The doctors that I have seen have taken time with me and explain procedures before doing or scheduling them. I now see the MSPA-C. I have to say that he is GREAT. He has built up a rapport and a level of trust. He does a comprehensive body check and takes all the time he needs to answer my many questions!
- Pros: Clean, lots of Drs, Nice
- Cons: Long wait time
Stay away from "Advanced Dermatology Associates"
by prindikm
If you are looking for personal care DON'T look here! It's a assembly line. They called and cancelled my followup appointment. When I tried to call them back to reschedule, the receptionist was short and appeared not to know what she was doing. After a few attempts to reschedule I finally told the receptionist, "FORGET IT, I'll find another doctor for my followup exam". She said, "FINE". Can you believe this?? From the long wait in the waiting room, to the doctor who flys in and out, to the unfriendly office staff. STAY AWAY from this place!!!!!
- Pros: None
- Cons: everything
Would never recommend them

I was very disappointed with them. I had a couple moles removed there. The doctor examined them & told me they can be just shaven off instead of being cut out with incision ( I don't the medical term). I warned the doctor that I had the same kind of mole removed before & my previous dermatologist explained to me that this kind of moles should be cut out with incision, if just shaven off they will grow back. My warnings were disregarded & my moles were shaven off. I had some questions, but before I could get up, the doctor has already rushed out... I felt like they were running a business where they wanted to get you in & out as soon as possible, not dedicating any time to a patient. And guess what, both of the moles that were shaven off have already started growing back. Very, very, very disappointed.
- Pros: Very Clean, Nurse Staff is friendly
- Cons: Doctors don't spent enough time with patients, rush in, rush out, not knowlagble enough
Lots of dctrs to choose from but poor service
by alf1975
Had my appt made 3 months in advance. Got there and waited for 1 hour and 15 minutes, and demanded my copay back and scheduled a new appt, this time first thing in the morning about 4 weeks later. Dctr that saw me barely looked me over, but another dctr there uses a special magnifying glass thing to check moles, but I didn't know that not all of the dctrs did this. They are notorious for scheduling "follow-up visits" where you still pay an office visit fee, they look you over in like 5 minutes, and you're done. It's a great scheme on their part to get our insurance money and copays. I will go somewhere else next time. They have way too many patients to really care about them each personally.
- Pros: Lots of doctors
- Cons: Not personable, too many patients, LONG waiting period.
Not all Dr.'s graduate at the top of the class...

Went there to have my two year old son treated. They could not diagnos him and treated him with meds. for eczema, which turned out to be a skin condition called keratosis pylaris ( not diagnosed by them). They caused us to spend lots of money in unnecessary meds. and office visits and still told me they weren't sure what it was. After going to a more reputable Dr., they correctly diagnosed him within 5 minutes of our visit just by looking at him and told us within a year it will clear up. It is common in children and most adults have it and don't know what it is. It is not irritable, but can be unsightly. And THEY were right. It is now 95% gone and our son is in 1st grade. No thanks to thier practice. Would not recommend them!
- Pros: lots of dr.s to pick from , big practice, clean.
- Cons: can't get appt. with dr. of choice, rush you not much time spent, not willing to listen.
