I still dream about the Beer and Cheese
by leschukm at Citysearch
I love this place! I graduated from Lafayette College and still have to stop here whenever I come back to visit. I agree with the last review, there is a long wait. Just sit at the bar and have a few beers. Try the beer sampler. You MUST have the beer and cheese soup.
- Pros: Beer and Cheese Soup, BEER, Service
Great place, good food.

We had our rehearsal dinner here and we enjoyed it. The service wasn't the best, but we did get our food, drinks, etc. They have some great menu items and their beer-cheese soup is awesome. We get it all the time. It's a little over-priced for what you get, but I guess you have to expect that when you dine out. I love the location in downtown Bethlehem! Parking isn't the best, but the place is worth going to. I will continue to go back here.
- Pros: ambience
- Cons: parking
I like it.

Acidjazz playing from the speakers, candles, & martinis the size of your head. The atmosphere is chill, and if you close your eyes you can pretend you're in the city. Great happy hour (1/2 limited app menu & reduced price matinis). Comfy lounge areas to sit with your friends & pool tables if you're a shark. Young professional crowd mainly.
Alternative to Musikfest food

Good food and good service even during Musikfest! Excellent salads and must try cheese and beer soup.
Great Beer
by savage25 at Citysearch
Bartenders are friendly and service is great at this hometown brewpub which has a full menu, welcoming atmosphere, and really great beer. They brew and serve only their own beer -- so be cool, don't ask for a Lager or Coors: if you don't know what to get, tell them the kind of beer you want to try (light, dark, stout, fruity). During the day and evening, the place is family-friendly, late nights and weekends can get crowded, but the place can generally handle it. The Steelgaarden, downstairs, has a Jazzy and dark atmosphere, bottled Belgian beers, limited appetizer menu, and pool tables.
- Pros: Beer, Fries, Food
get ready to wait!
by nicky1974 at Citysearch
The Brew Works has a great location, but is always crowed. Get ready to wait 1-2 hours for a table for burgers and beer. Staff really doesn't care that you have to wait either!
- Pros: location, beer-variety
- Cons: , unfriendly staff
