How Does this Guy Stay In Business

All the many negative experiences rang true to my own, which compelled me to write in some detail below. The salesman (Jeremy) was barely informative about the cars, but the owner was the real Psycho Car-Deal Killer. Businesswise, they both tried every evasive tactic in the shady book of Auto Lot Sales; KNOWN and UNKNOWN to man! Here are some examples of what transpired, nearly verbatim; this, after they initially pretended that they didn't know what "background paperwork" meant:
Carfax, you ask??? Jeremy/Owner: "Duh, what's that?" Later, why do you need it? And finally, "we don't have it, but you can buy it yourself!" Title??? Owner("Jack") Response: (Angry) ... "ahhh, what do you need to see that for?" When I persisted (entering his office) he retrieved an alleged original (title) from a file folder, but then he proceeded to place a yellow sticker over sections of the title information before making a "photocopy" for me to see. Naturally, I asked, what have you covered up? At that point, he grew angrier and our conversation became increasingly heated, He began to insist that I leave because "he" felt mis-trusted. In response, I held up a roll of cash to prove my intentions. Why bother... he continued to yell, and I felt that the entire scene had gotten way out of hand. To this day, I consider what occurred between us to be very strange, a "NO WIN" situation, and possibly dangerous. I left without further ado. Boy!!! I now realize that the owner actually did me a favor by telling me to leave at that time. I would have certainly kissed my (driver/ride) all the way home that day, although we were very disappointed to leave Bethlehem without buying wheels of my own. Yet, my heart goes out to the many victims of Bethlehem Auto Sales, who have lost both time and money as a result of its shady business practices. BUYER BEWARE of BETHLEHEM AUTO SALES!!! (DON'T JUST WALK AWAY FROM A PSYCHO-DEALER, AVOID THAT PLACE OF BUSINESS ALTOGETHER).
- Pros: Owner threw me out when I began asking QUESTIONS
- Cons: Bad Car Dealers happen to Good People. LEAVE!!!

Dealing with Jeremy was very easy and enjoyable. He didn't try to blow smoke up our rears, and came to an agreement very quickly. I am very happy with my SAAB 93, and would go back there anytime I need a car.
- Pros: No layers of bueacracy to deal with like at large dealers.
- Cons: None of the niceties you get at a big place.
THIS PLACE IS A REAL JOKE GOOD FOR A LAUGH
by MICKEYD at Citysearch
What kind of owner would allow his employee to argue on line with a customer who caught on to his scam. That should speak for itself. You can bet the farm that the owner stood behind his bald headed geek employee while he wrote a response.Scam of all scams. If you don't believe me knock on the neighbors doors and ask. Also try knocking on the doors in a 10 mile radius. They will all tell you this place is a rip off.The used car lot 2 doors down laughs when he saw that you walked over from Beth auto sales price shopping.Sure Beth Auto may be cheaper but you get what you pay for.JUNK!Pay the extra buck and go somewhere else.Grade school car dealership.Owner needs to be used as a dodge ball target during recess.
- Pros: Lauhing is healthy
- Cons: You'll be askied to leave before your laugh is over.

1st encounter was horrible. So, I wrote a bad review and bought a car elsewhere.
Recently read Bethlehem Auto's response to my bad review. They apparently didn't like it. Sadly they always try to intimidate consumers who stand up for themselves. Yet they persist with the same unfortunate behavior. BUYER BEWARE. I cannot warn you enough. One star is being too kind. Zero is more like it,
but the technology apparently won't accept that.
- Pros: None
- Cons: Too Numerous to Mention

WOW i remember you.. How about you tell everyone the truth..First of all i told you i would give you all the information neccesary to run a car fax.I never once played like i didnt know what one is.How about you tell everyone what the information on the title was that you wanted to see.....Hmmmm maybe because it is illegal for us to show you..You wanted to see the previous owners name...Which due to the privacy act we cannot show you..So yeah waving cash in front of someones face and asking them to do something illegal does not work here..Oh and by the way barely informative i told you everything there was to know about the Grand Cherokee You had no intention on buying...Since you called me and also wrote me That morning about the Liberty..If anyone should be called shady here it should be you not us.We weren't the ones waving money around asking you to do something illegal..

I could not believe my eyes driving past this place that I know well. I watched a 92 year old man dragging out a battery charger to jump start cars @ 4 degrees while the owner sat at the warm office window with a scarf and a winter coat on, leading him like a piece of cattle Watching him from the inside of his heated garage. My first thought was to stop and bring the old man who has been a faithful employee for over 20 years into my car and then leading the owner out by demand to do what he instructed the retired man to do himself. That may have landed me in prison. GOD BLESS NICK. The man in the suit and tie who some think is the monster behind the cruked car sale who was just a worker. If you ever plan on buying a car here ask for the owner and deal with him.It will never happen since he would like to blame his poor choice of junk that he sells on former employees his new guy in charge will also be a former employee as well due to stress of the owner dumping all of his problems on him.BIGSAUSAGEPIZZA was a good man and a war veteran of the vietnam who never broke during combat but was driven to a mental breakdown working for this pos. The new guy who posted in my opinion will be the next guy to post the former employee nightmare. The biggest joke about this place is his landlord who rents to him waits for his garbage cars to come back so they can repair them from the warranty company. His landlord has a very good honest establishment but it is also a good investment to renting to this idiot since they are making a killing off the warranty work.He has no respect from anyone and never will.He does have enough cash to make himself look like he is doing well but eventually the cash will be gone.BIGSAUSAGEPIZZA WAS HIS BEST AND MOST FAITHFUL EMPLOYEE ANYONE COULD EVER ASK FOR..The new guy is just the new guy has no idea of what really goes on here just looking out for himself to sell auction junk and dealers that wholesale the trade in junk they do not want
- Pros: 92 year old man in 4 degree weather(HERO)
- Cons: No resapect for anyone.
Former Employee
by TheNewGuy at Citysearch
I have found the post by BigSausagepizza quite funny.Considering all of the reviews are basically pointing there finger right at him.As you keep reading the reviews here you will find out why he is a FORMER Employee.I am sorry to all of the people that had to deal with him.As you can see he was the cause of the negative feedback.
- Pros: I am here now...
- Cons: None
Big joke

As a former employee I would like everyone to know. The stuff that goes on in this place with used parts and dishonest odometer readings should land the owner of this scam in jail. This place should be avoided by all except the District attorney or State police. This buisness will not survive 2009 and the way the owner treats people he may not either. I hope he lives long enough to get caught and have a happy ending in prison. I am sure there are some inmates in jail that got screwed as well. Time will only tell. I can go on and on about the buyers who came back the following day wanting their money back. I can not believe his reputation has not caught up to him and he is still open for more time to sukker people into his junk.
- Pros: He should go out of busness soon
- Cons: I feel sorry for anyone in the future who buys a car here
BUYER BEWARE!

My wife and I were with some friends looking at the cars that were on the lot. We spent a few bucks on car fax to get prior vehicle information. It was well worth losing the car fax fee than thousands for the auto auction junk that sit's on that lot.The salesman got very angry when we asked for vehicle history. The owner of the lot walked right past us without a even a hello and slammed his private office door in our face.We just looked at each other my wife and I and we got out of there as fast as we could. We went to the lot next door and they informed us of the car fax site. The sad part of this is that our friend did by a car there and had the worse nightmare she could have ever had. The dealership has a repair garage right beside it. They fixed the car after a huge argument with Bethlehem auto staff. Take some advice here if you really need to buy a car from this shady joint here are some tips.Get vehicle history run a car fax. Take the vehicle to a trusted mechanic it is Pa law that requires this option if the consumer requests.Do not pay cash just in case you need to cancel your check. Best tip here is to go to another place. Downright dishonest place.
- Pros: Car fax and taking the car to your mechanic
- Cons: They won't talk to you after you request that info.
How can these people still be in business?
by chesterbaby at Citysearch
I bought a car , I use the term VERY loosely, from this "dealer." If you know what's good for you STAY AWAY!!!! This is a horrible place. There were so many things wrong with it from day one. We took it back the next day, and it turned into a screaming match. This man should not be allowed to be in business!! The salesman was very arrogant, the owner, forget it!!!! He was so mean, that I had to threaten to call the police! He got in my face and screamed at me. He almost physically threw me out of the office. I screamed right back at him, which made him even angrier. I guess he didn't like being yelled at by a woman. All we wanted was for the car to be fixed. It was a day from HELL!!! The worse half hour of my life! I have never been treated that way in my life. As it turned out we left the car there, they did fix it. Which I thought was funny, cause they said there was nothing wrong with it in the first place. There are so many other places to shop for cars, do not shop here!!!! This man should be put out of business. I will NEVER give him a penny of my money.
- Pros: NONE
- Cons: Too many to name
