Let me begin by saying that I have been searching for a "good" hairdresser for more years now than I can remember. I have been EVERYWHERE else. And now, I found THE BEST!!!!! I can tell you of MANY hair "traumas" than you could believe. And these were ALL from the "good" salon/spas!! I went gray at an early age, and had to begin getting my hair colored. I have tried ALL the salons in the Lehigh Valley, and on down to Philadelphia, and not one came close to being even acceptable. From the minute I walked into her salon, I felt like this gal was my best friend since childhood! She makes you feel soooo good! Because I was so upset about my last dye job, Kristen even came in on a holiday, and opened her spa just to do me!!!! She is sooooo very knowledged, AND talented! She truly cares how you feel about your hair, and turns herself inside out to please you. How often do you find that these days? You don't! She keeps working on you until you are happy with your hair. AND, she doesn't charge an arm and a leg! She simply charges the same as the other salons (actually less.) She is something we don't see these days. She actually takes PRIDE in her work, and enjoys it!!!! I will be coming back religeously! Many thanks to Kristen ! Sincerely, A VERY satisfied customer!

Kristen has been doing my hair for about two years. I drive to the Lehigh Valley from Philadelphia because she really is one of the best colorists I have encountered (and I have visited some very pricey salons while living in cities in the US and abroad). She achieves a very natural effect, and most importantly, she really cares about and maintains the health of my hair. My hair is quite long and has been color treated forever. She does several things previous hairdressers did not to ensure that my hair stays healthy. I think the thing that makes Kristen stand out is not the way I look when I leave the salon, but how I look after a few weeks. (Let’s face it: most stylists can make you look good when you leave.) What makes her exceptional is that my color and cut always grow out in a very subtle way, so 6 – 8 weeks after a visit, my hair still looks great. Also, because it’s so healthy, I don’t have to do much to style it. Despite being long, it’s very ‘wash and go’. That is in part due to the cut, and in part due to Kristen’s commitment to keeping clients’ hair healthy. I highly recommend Kristen, particularly if you color your hair, but still want it to look, feel, and be healthy.

Pros: My hair always looks great.

Cons: I have to drive all the way from Philadelphia to get to a stylist this talented!

Kristen is by far the most talented stylist in the area!! EVERYONE looks good when they leave her salon. She brings her craft to the level of art, and her cuts are universally flattering - they work with the clients hair texture, face shape and lifestyle. Kristen uses gentle, non damaging color, and the results are beautiful and natural. My husband always says my hair looks healthier and more beautiful than a celebrity. I am addicted!!

My first experience with Kristen Nicol was last Thursday, 6/19 and it will certainly not be my last! What a pleasant surprise to find a hairstylist in the Lehigh Valley that will actually listen to your concerns. I was in desperate need of color and style update and she delivered big time! I felt comfortable with her as soon as I walked into the shop. I'm not one to spend alot of time fussing with my hair. The cut she gave me is so easy to style. I highly recommend Kristen for cut, color, waxing and a fun, relaxing time.

I was treated to an experience with/by Kristen Nichol for the first time, last year for my birthday. It was the most relaxing day of my life. Facial, mani, pedi, and a great haircut.....it was perfect. Kristen did such an amazing job with me and when I left I felt like a new person. Now, my mother, (who treated me to my first experience) sees Kristen reguarly as well. We always leave completely satisfied. She's also great with my almost 3 year old son and when I finally decide to get his hair cut Kristen will be the only person I call!!! Many thanks and congratulations to Kristen!

Kristen Nicol has been doing my hair and eyebrows for years now. She is the best hair dresser I've ever had. She listens to what you want, what you need, and does her best to make you as beautiful as possible. I've never left her salon feeling disappointed or unhappy. Ms. Nicol is also the only one who will use cold wax for eyebrows and with people who have sensitive skin like I do it is a huge relief to be able to look my best without red, irritated skin. If you want damaged hair or hair that snaps, go to a cheap salon. If you want to look gorgeous and be treated like a queen/king, then go to Kristen Nicol.

When I went in she was very up front about my old hair cut. She said it is soo 80s like[ which she is right. probaley older.] My hair is getting very thin from med.. She did the best she could and told me what she is gona do as it comes in some moore. She gave alot of advice about how to do stuff at home, to help. I was very thankful for the advice. I will def. stay with her for my cuts. I will try to save up for her to do my color. I know she will def. pick the right color for me and my condition She is def. in the 2000..

Kristen always gives me a very satisfying cut. Enjoyable to know and have had nothing but great experiences since going to her earlier this year.

Kristen is a great person. Lots of fun. She gives fine hair cuts (I am mostly bald so not much to rate there) and also great massages. I definitely recommend her!

Kristen is a master at her craft. She has colored my hair for over 3 years. It always looks natural and not artificial. I always get compliments on my hair style. She is always willing to work with any styling problems or changes. It's always a pleasure to come into her shop. She makes you feel very welcome.
