The Best

WOW! They just got a new sushi chef and he's GREAT! This place is slammin! Yeah we waited-but it was so worth it! I love The Dancing Fish!
- Pros: Everything
- Cons: Nothing I could see
Good food, bad situation
by fishguy28
The dancing fish is and continues to be the best sushi place around, i go there frequently and have never had a problem. although the food takes a while sometimes and i admit sometimes i have even gotten the wrong order, but the manager always will either give you a discount or complimentary food. unfortunatly the owner and former sushi chef has been diagnose with cancer so his 16 year old son is filling in. So although it will take a little longer the food is just as good and still fresh as always.
- Pros: Great people, it always seems like your part of a party
- Cons: little wait but the food makes up for it.
Where's the sushi?
by makeadifference
After 90 minutes after ordering sushi - it still didn't come. Jay is no longer there - so it seems like they're ordering the sushi from some other restaurant - maybe that's why it takes so long! The food USED TO be great - that was when you actually got served what you ordered.
- Pros: good atmosphere
- Cons: never got our food

Excellent Japanese; Riotous Nights
by free2
In our ten or so visits here: the fish has consistently been fresh, and the menu has been innovative. The people are friendly and even entertaining. We regret to report that the restaurant has become quite popular and reservations are now encouraged (the management undoubtedly sees it differently). Some weekend nights are absolutely riotous - with a packed house and amusing entertainment. But the food and atmosphere have not suffered.
- Pros: Fresh fish, Innovation encouraged, Relaxed, interactive
- Cons: Getting crowded
