My shopping experience at Partridge in a Pear Tree was absolutely the worst ever! I was shopping, on Saturday, for a dress for my daughter's wedding. I usually like to shop around before I make a final decision or purchase, especially for something as important as this. The sales people were so rude when I mentioned that I was not sure whether the dress was the right one and I would have to think about it. I mentioned that I would like my daughter and husband to see the dress before I made a decision. Apparently the sales clerk thought my need of approval from some family member was bizarre or at the very least humorous, because she proceeded to mock me and try to make a fool out of me in front of the other customers and sales clerk. I have never experienced anything quite like this! I can assure you I will never shop at this store again and would never recommend it to anyone!

My mother and I went there for a dress for her to wear to my wedding which is coming upvery soon. We went in and saw a couple things that we liked and when the woman came over, she asked waht we were looking for and I said a mother of the bride dress and then she asked where the wedding was and we told her and she got really rude, because she never heard of it. When we did finish picking dresses she told us all the rooms were full but actually there were 2 empty. We were so mad we left. Oh well it turned out good because we went to Carols in Northampton and paid 1/2 the price for a dress that was so much nicer then anything they had anyway.
