TO DAM EXPENSIVE

by abomb4620 at Citysearch

I usually go to this Rookies 2 times/month except I don't think I'm going to return. Service and atmosphere is always great except, tonight I went in and ordered 1 double vodka redbull. How much do you think it cam to? Not $8, not $10, not even $11. It cost me $11.25 for 1 drink, give me a break. Sorry to say guys but, you can give out all the free entertainment and food you want but, charging $11.25 for a drink is out of control and I WILL NOT RETURN. With a $2 tip it cost me $13.25 for 1 drink, IT IS TIME TO GO ELSE WHERE!

Fun place but specials are a joke

by daraider1 at Citysearch

This is a great place to watch football on sunday's or stop in for a good meal (considering your looking for a sports bar) during the week. The waitress staff is great but the specials are rediculous....$2.25 for a Miller Lite Pint..... come on!!!!

If you on a budget, go to Stooges around the corner. Same type of crowd and REAL specials. I like rookies but management has to make some changes for next football season or the prices here will scare me away.

Try the Cajan Chicken Pasta or Burgers.

  • Pros: All NFL games, parking, pool, darts, TV's everywhere
  • Cons: Price, Price, Price, Price, specials that are more expensive than regular prices around the corner

not worth it

by maddhatternpa at Citysearch

the wings and the atmosphere are good but the rude waitresses and the lack of even standing room on a pay-per view wrestling event more than make up for ruining your night out. The last time I was there I had the privledge of watching the owner scream at one of the servers in the middle of the restaurant. I didn't find that to be the most professional thing for an owner to do in front of the customers.

  • Pros: good parking, good drink specials
  • Cons: , lousy service, rude waitresses
