Tips for Curtis Total Service

I contacted Curtis Total Service after discovering a water leak in the front yard. A plumber arrived in a couple of hours and gave an estimate. He was very knowledgible and explained the cause of the leak. The work completed was very labor intensive and they did a great job. I would highly recommend this company for any plumbing services.

When it comes to getting a plumber, I never know where to start. I asked a friend who referred me to Curtis Total Service and a guy showed up the next day. He went right to work and did a great job. He also offered good maintenance advice for the future. I will definately use this company again.

They just completed work at my home and they provided me with an initial quote and when the work was completed that was the price I paid. The technician did reccomend additional legitimate work at reasonable cost but I decided not to get that done. Overall a great experiance.

I was really impressed with the service from Curtis Total Service. I was fortunate to be able to get their technician to the home to deal with a few plumbing issues at my home. He was highly knowledgeable and efficient… great to work with… I’ll be asking for him specifically next time we need help, as he was the best I’ve dealt with.

We had trouble with Curtis Total Service Allentown, PA. We were quoted one price and then charged another. Told that we will have to appear before the magistrate if we choose not to pay. Explained willing to pay the amount agreed upon not an amount that is double. Recommend getting everything in writing and using a charge card and not a check or cash for any deposits for work from this company. Do your research before going with them.?

Bad company in LV. My hot water heater broke 2 years after Curtis installed it. Even though the heater was still under warranty, they said they would charge me $1100 to change out the old for the new even though it would only take 2 hours. This was more than the original parts+labor was. When I asked the manager to explain this discrepancy he said That s just what the price is. WAY OVERPRICED. Poor workmanship. STAY AWAY.?

I called Curtis Total Service because my furnace was not running. The contractor added water to system and began to up sell me on service agreements. They billed me for Service Call $77, for Diagnostic $158, and $277 for balancing the system. Adding water and bleeding pipeline. An hour after he left furnace stop running. Having spent the night with no heat I called another company who repair the problem, which was a faulty primary control. System ran like a gem the rest of winter. Having tried to reach Curtis Total Service to complain, with no result, I stop payment on check. After 18 days Curtis TotalService Operational Manager finally contacted me. I told him of problem and told him I would pay him $77 for service charge. He stated that wasn't satisfactory. I sent him check for $77. This resulted in Curtis Total Service turning the collect over to Gross McGinley law firm. The lawyer for this firm had no desired to settle this issue even though she was contacted by the Pa, Attorney General Office. She was more concern with esculating the case to a Jury Trial while requesting $1000 judgment for her legal fee.
