Dance=friends, great memories, and not to mention great form of exercise.
I've been dancing at Dance Design for the last 11yrs. and can truthfully say that I have no complaints worth degrading the studio or the director. Although the tuition is expensive you have to understand this is a business. My years at Dance Design have been very memorable and allowed me to meet some of my closest friends. ALL of the staff and teachers are welcoming and very friendly. Overall the years of being a part of the IMPACT dance team will always be good times remembered for me:)
Not with the current director, NO NO!!!!.
I would recommend this studio if you are willing to pay $300 a month just for tuition to be on the competition team. Then travel all over the place and pay for costumes, competitions, and hotel fee's.Also if you are willing to deal with the director who is judgemental, insenstitive, and not supportive of her students.I have gone to this studio for 11 years, and quit the past year, because the director embarrased me beyond words infront of my class. She actually brought me to tears.I just wish that she would retire and that her assistant teacher(Miss Addy)would take over, because she is the most caring, helpful person that I have have ever met.Basically if you do not take the competition classes you will learn barely any technique, because the regular classes only focus on learning their dances for the yearly recital.I would not recommend this studio while the current owner/director is still in charge.
