Wonderful in every way!. We ate dinner at the Apollo in early March and we were *very* impressed. Truthfully, we hadn't expected to find such a terrific restaurant in a city the size of Bethlehem. The Apollo is both sophisticated and very comfortable. The food was outstanding, as was the service. The interior is very attractive (with art on the walls) and we met one of the owners (a very friendly woman). Prices are reasonable, and certainly much moreso than what you'd pay at such a place in bigger cities. Due to the Apollo's huge popularity, you need a reservation and they do get booked-up for "peak" times. Parking is also slightly problematic, as you need to use a garage (unless you're one of the lucky few to get an on-street space).

When wanting good food in the Valley. This is my favorite restaurant in the Valley. I would recommend trying a few things from their extensive appetizer menu to get a feel for the food. Decent martinis & very friendly waitstaff. Mainly 35+ professional crowd. There is rotating art on the walls which is available for purchase if you're so inclined.

Great appetizers. Apollo is definitely a cool atmosphere--a metro feel in Bethlehem. The drink menu offers many fun cocktails. We had entrees...but next time I go back I would order a couple of the appetizers and make more of a tapas serving. There are so many to try, and everything I had was delicious! The bar had a 30 something crowd, the rest of the place was mixed. Good for casual dates...but be prepared to sit close to others in the main dining area.

User review by csammy2k. beautiful restaurant. good food, although almost too rich in flavor. no non-smoking section. benchlike couch that runs along one wall, looks like people are sitting too close to each other.

The Best Restaurant in PA. The best food of any restaurant in PA. I have eaten at this restaurant about 8 times and I am never disappointed. My wife is an amazing chef which makes life difficult going out and being surprised. We are rarely impressed by what some restaurants will call fine cuisine. Not the case with the Apollo. The menu is diverse as are the presentations. You won't find more care and the owners work hand in hand with the staff. It's like they are having you over to their home. The staff is young, hip and courteous. I've never tipped less than 25%. Very recommended.

Excellent!. You start with a friendly smile at the door and that mood continues throughout your entire meal to dessert. The martini selection is outstanding and so are the appetizers. You can make a meal of just appetizers! Main courses are available in petit portions so you can indulge in sampling everything....save room for dessert! The wait staff, bartenders and everyone is so friendly you just want to stay and enjoy after dinner drinks!

Best in Lehigh Valley for a Reason. This is the best restaurant in the Lehigh Valley (for some years running), and that is true for a reason. New York City quality. A wonderful range of offerings, from an excellent reuben sandwich to superb Thai shrimp. Take a gander at the appetizer list - it is a dream come true for those of us that can eat a meal of five appetizers. Rod and Diane are culinary mainstays in the Lehigh Valley. Superbly run and maintained. Excellent service, with a smile. The waiters do not look away from your glance here.
