Wow probably the worst experience I ever had! I took my wedding dress to Anne to get sized and she was so rude to me right from the start. I needed simple alterations basically just taken in on the sides. When I told her it needed to be taken in more she laughed at me. I also wanted the dress hemmed and she told me she couldn't do it. ???? I thought she was a seamstress? I was so excited to be trying my dress on and she ruined the whole experience. She acted like me being in her business was annoying. Anyway I left my dress there due to the fact Bethlehem has very few places that do alterations. I went home and decided I did not like the way I was treated and I decided to go get my dress back. I went back a few weeks later and when I walked in Anne again didn't even acknowledge me. When I asked for the dress back she asked me why I wanted it back I told her that I found someone else. She went to get the dress and when she brought it out she told me I needed to pay her 10$ ??? I told her that was ridiculous but I paid her. When I got home I also noticed some of the beads were loose on my dress. Stay away from Anne! She is a sad excuse for a biz owner.

Bethlehem's Best. My daughter purchased a very intricate and detailed prom dress. The dress needed to have bust area altered and straps in the back adjusted. We called Anne to make an appt and were in and out in less than 15 min. It took about a week for dress to get done, but so worth it! Anne is so personable, and great at what she does. The dress was altered perfectly! I will definitely recommend her to all my friends. She was great! I can't say enough!

Excellent!. I took my wedding gown to Fashions by Anne to have it hemmed and a bustle to be put in it. I was naturally a little nervous having the dress that I had just picked up and paid a lot of money for altered. However, Anne did an excellent job on the hem! The whole process was fairly easy, tried on the dress, she pinned it and made sure to find the exact right length, and it was done. She also was nice enough to rush to get the hem done for me, since I live in a different area and was only in town for a little while. I really appreciated that because oterwise, I would have worried about it being the right height until I would have been able to try it on a week before my wedding. She really worked to make sure it was pinned to the right height and did a great job on it! I am very fussy about my dress (as most brides are) and really could not be happier with the result! I will be recommending her to my bridesmaids/mother and anyone else looking for quality alterations by an experienced professional!

perfect dress for my wedding. I went to anne for my daughters jr bridesmaid dress for my wedding. She was very helpful through the process, explained everything to me, and created exactly what i wanted. The cost was cheaper then buying a dress that i didn't want, & getting it altered. i'm having her alter my dress and the maid of honors dress. I'm very pleased!

TERRIBLE!!. I only gave her a 1 star because 0 stars wouldn't have shown up, and I have many things wrong with her, but I'll keep it short.

She told me she could fix my dress the way I asked her to, then at the fitting neglected to tell me why it couldn't be done.

She took 5 minutes to look at me in my dress, put 2 pins in, said I needed 3 inch panels in each side and I was done.

As I was leaving, she told me she needed a $75 deposit, but Didn't tell me how much it to complete.

When I called to tell her I changed my mind, she didn't believe me when I told her we were taking the dress back to the shop where I bought it from.

When my mother-in-law picked up the dress, she called her a lier, that she had called the shop and the number was disconnected.

She had no right to take the card from my dress bag, or think it was her place to try and call the bridal shop.

I would NEVER recommend her to anyone, but good luck if you do. I hope she fixes your dress the way YOU want it, not her way.

Great Bridesmaids Dress Alterations. I needed to have my bridesmaids dress altered and I was quickly running out of time. I did a local Google search and found Fashions by Anne. I read her reviews and decided to give her a call. She told me that she had no problem getting me in for an appointment that Saturday, although it was the middle of prom season. I arrived about 15 minutes before my scheduled appointment. She has a very good location, it's easy to find, and I had no problems with on-street parking. When I walked in, Anne greeted me with a smile and friendly hello. I was immediately in the fitting room. I explained to her that I needed my strapless dress taken in at the sides of the bodice because I couldn't hold it up. She quickly pinned me in and I was re-dressed within 15 minutes. This was the first time I had ever needed something altered and other members of the bridal party had told me what they had paid at other locations, so I was a little apprehensive. I was pleasantly surprised. It cost me $53 to have the dress altered at the top and down the sides and to have it pressed. I picked it up two weeks later, even though I could have picked it up the following week. When I tried on the dress after it was altered, it fit perfectly. I couldn't see any stitches or rumples. It was truly a professional alteration. Anne was also very happy when I told her that I loved her work and that she did a wonderful job. Her eyes just lit up! I will be recommending Fashions by Anne for anyone else that needs something altered.

Great Wedding Dress Alterations!. I purchased my wedding dress online and went to Fashions By Anne to get the perfect fit. Anne was very nice and immediately got started with measuring and pinning. She altered, hemmed, bustled, sewed in bra cups, ironed, and even made my veil for a very reasonable price. I rented my slip from her as well. I highly recommend Anne for any wedding alterations you need. She did a terrific job!

My dress, veil, and wedding were beautiful!

Love Her!!!. I went in a month before my friends wedding. Anne altered my bridemaids dress and it was beautiful. She is a real nice woman. I was actually late for my first appt and she just scheduled me for a later time. I was in and out while getting the measurements done and when picking up the dress. I would refer anyone to her. =)

Would recommend to anyone!!. Anne is an incredibly personable businesswoman with a lot of skill in her expertise. I came in early June 2008 and needed a bridesmaids dress altered. I put the dress on, she pinned the places that needed adjusting and that was the first visit. Quick and painless. I came back in a week and the dress fit PERFECTLY!!!! There was not even a sign that it was altered. It looked flawless and it looked wonderful on me. I would recomment her to anyone.
