Best ALL AROUND food in the area. We recently relocated to the area and live not far from the restaurant. After seeing the advertisement in the local paper, we decided to try it out. What a pleasant surprise. The restaurant has great atmosphere. We first visited around Christmastime and there was a large Christmas tree in the corner of the dining room and there was a fire burning in the fireplace. We were concerned about our appearance because we were not well-dressed since we just came from picking out a Christmas tree. That wasn't a problem. We were also dining with two young children, which was also not a problem. The food was wonderful. After finding out that they offer a Sunday Brunch Buffet, we visited that next Sunday this time dressed for the occasion. The selection from the buffet is broad and you can also choose normal breakfast items made to order with the buffet. A regular breakfast without the buffet for a lower price is available. The pot roast is GREAT! The staff always treats our children with smiles and patience. They also offer nightly specials. What a great place to eat, with or without children.
BEST Italian Food in the Valley!. I have dined at Gaetano's many times and it is always a treat. Sam, the owner, and his sister Gay, the head chef, go above and beyond to make sure you have a great experience! Don't be confused by its location on the Southmoore Golf Course. The public is welcome here and so are the golfers! It's a relatively small restaurant but they have a really beautiful room for banquets and private parties too. In the winter they light the fireplace and in the summer they have patio seating, overlooking the course. It's beautiful! The food is simply amazing. They have incredible spicy lentil with sausage soup, mussels marinara, coconut shrimp, and crab stuffed mushrooms (sometimes!). The rigatoni alla vodka, artichoke chicken and eggplant rollatini are some of my favorites, and their seafood is perfectly done. You get so much food for the price! They also have a fully stocked bar with their own cocktails and you can get wine by the bottle or the glass. I especially love their Sunday brunch because they will make you omelettes to order and they have a ton of lunch/dinner food out there too. Once in a while they will have musicians, which is always really fun. I can't say enough about this wonderful place!!!
Customer service outstanding and great food follows closely behind.. My parents used to go to Gaetano's when they had their restaurant in Easton and were pleasantly surprised when they reopened not long ago in Bath (closer to them anyway). They eat there almost every weekend and when I come to visit from out of town, I join them. The chef is willing to go out of his way to make entree's just as the customer requests. I really enjoyed everything, from the wait staff to the soup to my pasta. The owner even walks around and greets tables. Very intimate and friendly. They even have a banquet room for large parties and gatherings.
