The pediatric department gets a little busy , but they tell us that they are opening a whole new separate section for kids very soon . Overall my family and I really like the place.
I take all three of my kids to the pediatric office. I have taken them all twice, and have always been happy with my experience. I feel the hygienists and the doctor take a lot of time to explain to me how I should properly care for my kids teeth, and the Dr. even recommended certain foods and drinks that are better for my kids than what I had been giving them. The staff is extremely patient, especially with my 3 year old. My kids are comfortable and happy, which makes me happy. I recommend this office to all parents that have young children, especially those that are afraid of the dentist. I was slightly uncomfortable at first because they do have a rule that adults are not allowed back for the work with their children. Once I met Dr. Katie at the cleaning appointment, I was entirely comfortable allowing her to work on my child without me being present. I took my son for 4 fillings, and he came out of the back smiling, with a prize. When I asked him if it hurt he said "No, I got to watch cartoons." Great practice!
great doctor and office. I had a truly wonderful experience with Smile Krafters. I made an emergency appointment on Tuesday, and they scheduled me almost immediately. I made the appointment at another office, and when I went in, the x-ray machine was broken. Dr. Andrew and his staff apologized and then sent me to Smile Krafters in Allentown, saying that it was their sister dentist. At Smile Krafters, I was treated very kindly and was assisted with my emergency issue. Everyone in the office was very pleasant to work with and I really appreciated it during such a stressful day.
Enjoy the beautiful surroundings because you are paying for it, their pricing is exorbitant! The business arm of this company will deplete your dental insurance benefits at an astounding rate. If you need extensive dental attention this isn't the place for you, if your a 1x or 2x a year patient you'll probably fair ok. It's unfortunate as Dr. Katherine Schloesser is a brilliant pediatric dentist, talented and great bedside manner.
the worst place i have ever go for service.
the first appointment i waited 2 hours and i didn't see the doctore becouse they told me that i have to wait another hour , so they reschadule another for me , next time i came on time i thought that what happend first time was by accident but i also waited half an hour in the waiting room and another hour in the patient room then the doctor came with a cold smile appologizing for the delay, my visit was for consultation and measureing for veneer they told the venner will come from the lab after 2 weeks, they called before the next appointment to cancel it and schadual another, and this happened 2 time after that at the end they called after 6 weeks to tell that the veneer is ready for me to put , i went there the same freaking french doctor telling me that the veneer can't be done for me i need to put braces first then the veneer!!!! i ask where is the veneer that you were waiting for it to come from the lab he was like :we did't send any thing to the lab i was like why you didn't say that at the bigining why i waited month and half for no thing or u want to get anther 6000 for braces, !!! i left and swear never come back again
they are so bad bunch of crocks and layers bad experince with them i don't recommend this place to any body.
Bad Experiences!. Don't let the nice decor fool you, this was the worse office I've ever been too. Every time I try to call, I get the run around from the answering machines. It took weeks of phone tag to book. I got charged a "broken appt" fee even after I called and left a message about a family emergency OVER 24hrs before the appt. My first appt, I was barely educated about the procedure, or the fact that my insurance wouldn't cover everything in the consultation (until I got the bill in the mail) even though I asked before hand, I felt absolutely rushed (except in the waiting room of course), instead of feeling like a patient, I felt like a dollar sign. Rude staff, bad customer service, save yourself the $, the headache, and the pain, go somewhere else!
Nothing like all the great reviews !. I looked up all the great reviews and made apt. Arrived 10 minutes early, filled out paperwork and waited. I am a scardy cat when it comes to Dentists and let them know and I wanted a consult as I had alot of work I wanted done. Waited in empty lobby for 40 minutes then asked was there a problem. Was told they need to verify Insurance before I could even see the doctor and they could not get in touch with mine. She was just going to keep me waiting there and not say a word and she had no idea what to do since they could not verify. I left, I was terrified already and they sure did not help. Very rude and unsympathic.. Guess I should not trust reviews in the future."
