Razor's Edge - Best Barber in Town Hands Down.
I've been going to Razor's Edge for over 3 years now and I couldn't agree more with the positive reviews below. I have literally never had a bad haircut and I've seen William a minimum of 35 times. I have also never felt rushed even when I knew I was his last haircut of the day. He is also open on Monday's which is very convenient.
No one in town is better with clippers than William - particularly when compared to the 4-chair shop on Rt. 100 near the roller skating rink. In contrast, I don't think I have ever had a good haircut there and I have always felt rushed (I was forced to visit them on a few occasions after "the fire" in William's building and when he's has been out of town on vacation).
Bottom line, even if you face a full shop, William is worth the wait if you want a good, consistent haircut.
family friendly. best barbershop in town macungie family friendly, being going there for 5 years and never head a foul word for now one barber only, but its worth waiting, recomended 100% try it.
Great Haircuts, Family Friendly.
My son and I have been getting our hair cut at Razor's Edge since 2005. My biggest factor in looking for a barber back then was to find a shop where I could take my son (5yrs old at the time) without exposing him to adult oriented conversation that you find in a lot of barber shops.
I have never experienced the poor situation described by the reviewer "asjadad". I have been going there every 5 weeks for the last six years. Never once have they rushed a hair cut or have been rude. In fact, William(the owner) takes his time and I have always had a perfect haircut. The same goes for my son. Expect to sit in the chair for at least 20mins. I would say that is not rushed. I have never heard a foul word come from William. He is very personable.
William always uses a straight razor to clean up the neck and side burn areas. I occasionally have him trim my goatee as well.
The only downside is that William no longer has a second barber so sometimes there is a wait depending on how many people are there before you. Other than that, I never hesitate to refer Razor's Edge.
bad bad place... worst haircut ever. people were rude, fast, and only interested in themselves and eachother. i heard things said that i made me glad my kids were not with me.
Great old style barbershop! Use the Razor on the neck!. I have been to alot of places in my 50 years. The Razor's Edge is by far the best barber shop ever. They are courteous to my children, they do great haircuts, and the two barbers there, Darrell and William are the best.
