Great place- Great doctor

I happened to be a donor for RMA of PA and Dr. Schillings. I found through my experience that nothing was a surprise- I was talked through each procedure that would happen, what medicine to take and when, what precautions to take- very very precise instructions for each and every step of being a donor for RMA. Dr. Schillings in particular was very informative and professional to me even when I did have questions and took the time out of her busy schedule to answer them fully for me.
All in all I truly had an amazing experience with RMA of PA and Dr. Schillings and am proud to say that I worked with them to achieve the goals of deserving parents. I would definitely recommend RMA of PA to anyone.

RMA is a "fertility mill"

My assessment is that RMA is a "fertility mill" where they cycle patients through quickly rather than treating them like people who are trying to fulfill the dream of becoming a parent.
Dr. Schillings-not forthcoming w/information regarding procedures & gets irritated when you ask; Rushes out of the room while I am still asking questions; dismissive of errors made by office staff w/no attempt to apologize or avoid repeat
Office Staff-Clearly does not review my file nor the doctor’s orders prior to placing calls providing me with important orders to prepare for insemination; Consistently communicates inaccurate information (6 out of 8 calls for the specific purpose of providing me with instructions were erroneous); Has repeatedly attempted to schedule me for procedures I’m not supposed to have; Blatant disregard for the fact that fertility medicine is a patient-specific practice & seems to treat me as if I’m following the same apparent check-list as all of their other patients.
- Pros: Office staff is nice
- Cons: Inaccurate, not professional, no bedside manner
